Math Team
The Portledge Math Circle provides opportunities for students to explore mathematics and work on mathematical problem-solving. The Math Circle takes part in the Nassau County Interscholastic Math League (NCIML), the Portledge Math League, and the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), the Nassau Mathematics Tournament (NMT). These events are open to members of the Portledge Math Circle. Any interested student is welcome – you do not have to be a math whiz! You may participate in as many or as few events as you like. Portledge will provide transportation to events outside the school.
