AS: MLK, Jr. Day, 1st Annual Portledge Day of Service
We invite our whole community to participate in Portledge School's first annual MLK, Jr. Day of Service, The Power of Words: Community Building Through Literacy, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the Commons (location change from The Chen Center). This unique on-campus service event will support educational programming at SCO Family of Services and includes a book drive as the main activity. There will be a continental breakfast, and we will open the program with a guest speaker from the Long Beach Martin Luther King Center. Read More.
